Laws are supposed to protect "good people" from "bad people". In my opinion, in this case it is crystal clear who are the "good" and who are the "bad" people. Now, who should the law protect against whom?

I think there's some truth to the saying "laws are made to be broken", particulary if laws allow bad things happen to good poeple AND even more, when such a thing happens, prevent good people from reversing the effects of bad things done to good people!

The person who wrote it wasn't the VP of CL, rather, the VP of Corporate Communications. Apparently, word of this has gotten around a bit. Creative isn't the company it once was, anyway - its stock are pretty damned low, even for the economy we're in. I guess the VP of Creative Labs Corporate Comm. is responsible for lowly stuff like this as he twiddles his thumbs in his office. I don't think anyone is lashing at Dale-CL; rather, Creative Labs. Unless Dale-CL is an exec or on the board of directors (which is HIGHLY unlikely) there's no need to kick the messenger into a pit.

I would really be pee- od if I did not have XP and my Audigy 2 gamer card.. I will take good care of it because it will be my Last Creative Card. You know I always thought Sound Blaster was what all sound cards were. I didn't know other people made them also.. My Dell really sucks in games with the onboard sound. but I will never let creative parts touch it because of Vista.. I am on a Fixed income and just upgraded my Home build to a Core 2 Duo. and will use my old audigy 2z gamer. Hope Daniels driver will make sure it is working properly.. Could it be that 4 or 5 Million People worldwide know what underhanded Theives you are. I know you try to blame Vista so you could have been honest from the start and told us you disabled the features so that we would have to buy a new Card.. that is your only reason for doing this !! And that is why you are losing all your customers.. there is nothing you can do to make Me want to be your customer again. Well ! If in 10 years you are still around and you have started supporting your drivers. And Daniel is one of your Vice Presidents.. in charge of Driver Support .. then I will think about forgiving you and Maybe Buy something .. I seem to remember over the years asking for Driver support on older products and being told "You don't support them any Longer" Hmmm You have been scrwing us for years..
